Disney's Frozen/ Winter Wonderland Themed Birthday Party

Disney's Frozen Inspired 8th Birthday Party

I absolutely loved planning this adorable birthday party for my darling daughter's 8th birthday. I'm sure this party would delight any little fan of the movie "Frozen"!

Hope you enjoy!

Party table..

Birthday invites are what I always figure out first, and I find everything else falls into place once I get them ordered. (Invites were bought off Ebay - $20 for 20 nos.)

Here's the Elsa cake I made...  As you can probably notice I'm not a pro-baker by ANY means. I have baked only a few cakes in my entire lifetime.. :-)
Snowflake cupcakes I made..

I bought a Frozen figurine set from Ebay and placed them around the cake along with  handmade fondant snowmen.

Table centrepiece..

Here is a fun and easy idea to do for your FROZEN party theme.... Carrot sticks & Hommus (you could even dip them in ranch and call it 'Snow dip').

Frozen grapes were a hit at the party, and certainly added to the "Frozen" theme.

Ice Crystal Candy Floss - Kids loved them and it also gave the snow effect.

Berries for a quick and healthy snack idea..

Fairy snowflakes..

Bought the crystals from the dollar store and glued to each cutlery piece to add some bling.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" party activity.
Kids made their own Olaf and daddy took photos of every child with their snowman. I will print them up to include in the thank you cards.

Every party should have games and I tried to match these to the Frozen theme. They were kept simple and fun. The girls also had lots of free playtime in the big backyard and on the trampoline.
Here are some fun ideas for games:

1. A Frozen questionnaire between 4 teams of 5.
If anyone needs the questionnaire (20 MCQ's) in word format please comment below and I'm happy to mail it to you

2. Musical Iceberg: You take away a piece of paper (iceberg) each time the music stops, just like you take away a chair. Everyone has to try and get safely on an iceberg, child without an iceberg is out.

3. Corners: Label four corners with areas from Frozen. (We used North Mountain, ArendelleSouthern Isles and Oakens Trading Post). Then play music (with your back turned) and randomly stop the music. All kids run to a corner. You call out a corner and everyone in that corner will be out of the game. You keep going until you get down to only a few kids. You may remove a corner or two. When down to four, they can't go to the same corner. Last one wins.

We had so much fun celebrating our little girl! Hope you will too. Have fun and good luck with your party!
